The Gates Corporation is a leading manufacturer of belts and hoses for both the consumer and industrial markets. I worked with them both in-house as an Advertising Specialist and later externally as a freelance writer, web developer and project manager.

For this piece, I was asked to accomplish two goals.
1. Remind the reader what an important part our product plays in today's world.
2. Assure the reader of our commitment to the future of that world.
This piece pulled those points together with flare.

This joint campaign between Gates and one of their chief distributors was designed to inform salespeople about Gates products and their role in the industry of aggregate mining.
For the accompanying pieces, I researched the fields and products then pulled it all together in a cohesive workbook that informed salespeople about their client's operation and the way Gates products and service plans could make them more productive and efficient.

I've done a number of revisions to web pages for the Gates Corporation. To complete these changes required a knowledge of HTML, CSS, image optimization... and an experienced understanding of what a web reader is willing and able to absorb.
My work on this site has been focused on producing succinct, engaging and informative product information pages.
