
In the Fall of 2003, a large chain of outlet stores opened in Atlantic City. I helped develop the copy to kick off their auspicious beginning.

This ad was coming out at the start of holiday shopping season and my Art Director was in love with this photograph. I decided that since it looked like she was really shopping for herself, I'd point that out.
The message: "Shop for the season, and for yourself." The launch was a tremendous success.

For this ad, the client had what most would consider to be, two conflicting goals:
1. Tell them to come shop right now.
2. Tell them how much better the shopping will be in a few months.
I came up with a positive way to say all of that... and I worked in an ocean metaphor.
